Billing extract

Tidst knows what the work was and what it was worth. Your accounting system knows how to issue an invoice. The extract is the handover between them.

Pick a client and a period, and the billable work is grouped into priced lines — one per task — using that client's hourly rate, fixed fee or retainer. Rename a line if the internal wording is not what the client should read. Untick anything that should not travel.

Then choose how much detail goes with it: a total, one line per task, every date behind each line, or that same detail with no amounts anywhere for a client who should not see your rate. Copy it, or download TXT or CSV, and issue the invoice where you already do.

One thing it watches for you. Log work in a period you have already extracted, and Tidst says so — because the entry you write three days late is the one that quietly never gets billed.
