Google Tasks is where the quick things land — the follow-up, the fix, the thing a client asked for in passing. On their own they slip past the timesheet; together they add up to real hours.

Tidst reads your completed tasks through the Google API and never touches the ones still open. One connection covers both Google Calendar and Google Tasks.

Setting it up

  2. Open Connections and connect Google. You authorize once through the official API.
  3. Pick what to watch. Only what you choose feeds The Queue.
  4. Complete your work. It's waiting with one question: how long did it take?

Does Tidst change my Google Tasks?

No. Tidst only reads completed tasks — it never completes, edits or deletes anything, and the access is read-only by scope.

Can I set a duration on the task itself, like Todoist labels?

Not in Google Tasks — the API has no tags. Tidst suggests a duration from your history instead, and you confirm it in The Queue.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Google Tasks works on any standard Google account at no cost.

What happens if I disconnect?

Your logged time in Tidst stays. Disconnecting Google removes both the Calendar and Tasks feeds, since they share one connection; reconnect any time.
