Time tracking for Google Calendar

A client call is billable time you already scheduled. Tidst brings your relevant meetings into The Queue, duration filled in.

How it works

Finish the work. The timesheet writes itself.

Tidst reads the calendars you choose through the Google API. Each meeting arrives carrying its own scheduled length, so a call is one tap from your timesheet.

Completions become a queue

Relevant events show up in The Queue next to your completed tasks — matched to a client where Tidst can tell.

Durations arrive filled in

A meeting already knows how long it was booked for, so its duration is filled in before you touch it.

Priced, ready to bill

Confirm an item and it's logged under the client's rate — straight into the billing extract, no re-entry.

The detail

The meetings are already on your calendar

Freelance work isn't only tasks — it's the calls, the reviews, the workshops. Those are scheduled with a start and an end, which is exactly the information a timesheet needs.

Tidst matches an event to a client by its title and the people on it, and lets you confirm or correct — or tick a calendar on a client's page and everything from it files under that client directly. One Google connection covers both Calendar and Tasks.

Setting it up

  1. Sign up at tidst.com. Free to use, no card.
  2. Open Connections and connect Google. You authorize once through the official API.
  3. Pick what to watch. Only what you choose feeds The Queue.
  4. Complete your work. It's waiting with one question: how long did it take?
Questions

Does Tidst change anything in my calendar?

No. The access is read-only — Tidst never creates, edits or deletes events, and it never reads event descriptions or locations.

What about meetings that aren't client work?

Dismiss them — once dismissed, an event stays out of The Queue. Or keep whole non-work calendars unticked so they never appear.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Any standard Google account works, at no cost.

What happens if I disconnect?

Your logged time in Tidst stays. Disconnecting Google removes both the Calendar and Tasks feeds, since they share one connection; reconnect any time.
