Time tracking for Microsoft To Do

Your clients run on Microsoft and so does your to-do list. Tidst turns the tasks you tick off in Microsoft To Do into a timesheet, priced and ready to bill.

How it works

Finish the work. The timesheet writes itself.

Tidst connects through your Microsoft account and reads the To Do lists you choose, so each task you complete is waiting in The Queue.

Completions become a queue

Complete a task in a watched list and it appears in The Queue next to your Outlook meetings and the rest of your work.

Durations arrive filled in

You confirm each duration once in The Queue. Tidst suggests one from what similar work usually takes.

Priced, ready to bill

Confirm an item and it's logged under the client's rate, straight into the billing extract, with no re-entry.

The detail

The list you already keep

If you live in Outlook, your to-dos probably live in Microsoft To Do: the revision a client asked for, the invoice question, the quick fix. Each one took time, and each one comes back to Tidst asking how long.

Tidst reads completed tasks through the Microsoft Graph API and never touches the ones still open. One connection covers both Outlook Calendar and To Do.

Setting it up

  1. Sign up at tidst.com. Free to use, no card.
  2. Open Connections and connect Microsoft. You authorize once through the official API.
  3. Pick what to watch. Only what you choose feeds The Queue.
  4. Complete your work. It's waiting with one question: how long did it take?
Questions

Does Tidst change my Microsoft To Do lists?

No. Tidst only reads completed tasks. It never completes, edits or deletes anything, and the access is read-only by scope.

Can a task carry its own duration?

If you use categories, give the task one named like a duration, such as 30min, and it arrives with that time filled in. Otherwise Tidst suggests a duration and you confirm it.

Does it work with a work or school account?

Yes, as long as your organisation allows third-party app consent. Personal Microsoft accounts work too.

What happens if I disconnect?

Your logged time in Tidst stays. Disconnecting Microsoft removes both the Outlook Calendar and To Do feeds, since they share one connection; reconnect any time and your choices are remembered.
