A card used to open with pills — Todoist, Recurring task, Duration from label — stacked over two rows on a phone. So the first thing you read about a task was where it came from, and the name of the thing came third.

The order is the other way round now: the task, then who it is for and what it belongs to, then where it came from as one quiet line of text at the bottom. Nothing was removed — a card still shows all of it — it just stopped shouting the least useful part first.

A prompt like **Select project…** is different: that is Tidst asking you for something rather than telling you where something came from, so it keeps its highlight and sits where the project would go.

Cards also lost their drop shadow for a thin border, which is what the rest of Tidst uses, and the space between days is tighter on a phone.

Together that takes a card from 203 to 157 pixels. On a phone you now see two whole cards and the top of the next, instead of one and a sliver.

**The list changed too, and for the opposite reason.** Its rows put the duration and the tick on their own full-width line below the task, which took a row from 82 pixels on a desk to 157 on a phone — nearly the same as a card. Two views that look alike are not a choice worth making.

A row is one line now: the task, who it is for, how long, and the tick, all on the same line. 69 pixels. Where an item came from and how Tidst guessed at it drop away on a phone — the card view spells all of it out, and it is one tap away.

So the two shapes mean something again. The list is for scanning down a week and confirming; a card is for stopping at one item and checking it. On a desk neither changed.
