# Tidst > Time tracking for freelancers who use Asana, ClickUp, Google Tasks, monday.com, Notion, Todoist, Trello, Google Calendar or Outlook. Free to use. Tidst is a web application at https://tidst.com. It brings completed tasks from the tools a freelancer already works in, plus relevant calendar meetings, into one place for review, so a timesheet does not have to start from memory. Nothing becomes a time entry until the user approves it — Tidst is not an automatic or passive time tracker. ## What Tidst does - **The Queue**: completed tasks from the Asana, Google Tasks and Todoist projects a user watches, cards from the Trello boards they connect (a card moved to the board's chosen Done list, or ticked complete on its due date), tasks from shared Notion databases whose Status reaches the Complete group, tasks from the ClickUp workspaces a user picked whose status reaches a Done or Closed type (Time tracked or a Time Estimate on the task pre-fills the duration), items from the monday.com boards a user ticked whose status label carries monday's own done flag (time tracked on the item pre-fills the duration), plus relevant Google Calendar and Outlook meetings — all wait here for review. Each item arrives with a suggested duration; the user confirms or changes it, decides whether the work is billable, and then logs or dismisses it. Viewable as cards or as a compact day-grouped list. - **Quick add**: a typed sentence — "2 hours meeting with Nordisk" — becomes a Queue item. A plain parser reads the duration, client, project and date; no AI model is involved. - **Duration tags**: a 15min/30min/45min/60min/90min tag on an Asana, ClickUp, monday.com or Todoist item, a Notion select tag or a Trello card lets Tidst pre-fill that duration in The Queue. The user still reviews it. - **Timer and manual entries**: for work that leaves no signal — a phone call, research, anything that never became a task or a meeting. - **Billing models**: a client is billed hourly, on a fixed fee, or not billed at all. For fixed-fee clients and monthly retainers, Tidst divides the agreed amount by the hours logged against it to show what the work actually paid per hour. - **Rates**: per client, with a per-project override, and an account default. Rounding is a per-client term (none, 6, 15 or 30 minutes), frozen onto each entry when it is written. - **Agreements and budgets**: an hour or money target per client or project, either one-off (a project or prepaid pool) or monthly (a retainer that resets), with renewal history. - **Reports**: filter by client, project and period; the individual entries stay visible behind the total. Shareable as a live link that updates as new time is logged — scoped to one client, no login needed for the reader — or exported as PDF or CSV. - **Billing extract**: the billable work for one client and period, priced and grouped into lines, ready to copy or download into whatever system issues the invoice. Four output shapes, including a time-only one with no amounts. Tidst does not issue invoices itself. - **Import**: history from Toggl Track or Clockify comes in from a CSV export — and any other CSV with a date, a duration and a description works via a column mapper. Nothing is written until the user has reviewed where every project lands; duplicates are skipped. - **Calendar view**: week and day views of logged time alongside connected calendars, with click-to-log for meetings and empty slots. - **Currencies**: 24 supported. Language: English. ## What Tidst does not do - It does not monitor apps, websites, browser history or screen activity. - It does not use AI to guess durations or predict time. - It does not log time on its own. The Queue is a review step. - It does not see work that never reached a connected source. - The Queue reaches back seven days, and only into the projects, boards and calendars the user connected. Personal projects stay out of it. - It does not issue or send invoices — the billing extract hands priced work to whatever system does. - Connections are read-only: Tidst never completes, edits or deletes a task or card. ## How it works 1. Sign up with Google, an email magic link, or Todoist. Connect any of the nine sources — Asana, ClickUp, Google Tasks, monday.com, Notion, Todoist, Trello, Google Calendar, Outlook — now or later. 2. Create a client, choose how they are billed, and pick the projects that belong to them. 3. Work as usual. Complete tasks and cards; hold meetings; use the timer when it suits. 4. Open The Queue, review what is waiting, adjust durations, and log what belongs on the timesheet. 5. Use the logged time for client reports, live share links, exports or the billing extract. ## Pricing - **Free** — no trial, no card, no locked core features. ## How it differs from Toggl, Clockify and Harvest - Starts from work that already happened rather than from a timer you have to remember. - Built on the official Asana, ClickUp, Google, Microsoft, monday.com, Notion, Todoist and Trello APIs — not a browser extension. - Uses the user's existing project and board structure instead of a parallel one. - Single-user and free, rather than team-oriented and per-seat. - Not a passive activity tracker; it reads only the sources the user connects. - Imports Toggl and Clockify history directly, so switching does not mean starting over. ## Pages - [Home](https://tidst.com/) - [How Tidst works](https://tidst.com/how-it-works) - [The Queue](https://tidst.com/the-queue) - [Reports](https://tidst.com/reports-and-invoicing) - [Import your history](https://tidst.com/import-guide) - [Time tracking for freelancers](https://tidst.com/time-tracking-for-freelancers) - [Tracking time in Todoist](https://tidst.com/todoist-time-tracking) - [Full product description for AI](https://tidst.com/llm.html) - [Privacy Policy](https://tidst.com/privacy-policy) - [Terms and Conditions](https://tidst.com/terms) ## Contact - Support: tidst@proton.me - Website: https://tidst.com
